It is true that mobile home doors are sealed in a way that would prevent mail from being slipped under the door. However, all doors for older mobile homes were also made to swing outwards to open, never inwards. The door in this movie swings inwards. It is obvious that the set-makers modified this home, especially for the dramatic effect when the door swings open to reveal Chigurh standing there.
